Refreshing, uplifting and antiseptic. Expressed from the peel of the fruit, Bergamot oil has a delightful citrus aroma that is uplifting to the emotions. Bergamot essential oil was originally used as an ingredient in eau-de-cologne and blends well with most oils. Extremely effective in caring for blemished, oily and sensitive skin.

It has an antiseptic effect and helps with treatment of acne, wounds, digestion problems, nerve disorders, stress, depression and improves concentration.

General: Derived from the fruit of a small tree which grows in Sicily. The fruit ripens from green to yellow. The oil is a greenish brown mobile liquid with a sweet orange like aroma.

Research: shows the oil to be particularly effective in the treament of skin, respiratory and virginal tract infections.
